Owner and Derm PA at Natural Skin Health
After my own battle with acne and melasma, I know first hand that when your skin doesn’t look its best, you won’t show up as your best, either.
I entered the world of aesthetics as a Derm PA with a passion in my heart to help as many people as I could feel better in their skin. I didn’t realize my passion would be held back by an overload of patients, and bandaid recommendations.
By the time I opened Natural Skin Health Texas in Summer 2024, I had been building the clinical experience to support my dream for 6+ years. But I’d also been building the vision of exactly what I wanted our clinic to feel like for almost the same amount of time.
I knew I wanted:

A place deeply rooted in faith and West Texas hospitality
A homey, elevated feel (not a club you feel left out of)
A place where you don't have to wait long to be seen
A place where you don't feel rushed, but feel heard and deeply cared for
I also wanted a space where I didn’t feel rushed or burned out.
I’m a mom to twin girls, a wife, a lover of quality food, and I’m obsessed with the feel of a good patio sit with a heart-level-friend.
I wanted to build a business that added to that instead of taking away. One that supports my family to thrive, allows me to do what I love and feel called to, and helps my patients get life changing results all at the same time.
The crazy thing is, it’s not a dream anymore.
It became a reality with Natural Skin Health Texas.

Meet Dr. John L. Burns Jr. (MD)
Dr. Burns serves as medical director for Natural Skin Health. He is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and practices in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Burns dedicates his practice to cosmetic plastic surgery and has performed thousands of breast augmentations, facelift rejuvenations, rhinoplasty surgeries, and mommy makeovers in his 20+ year career.
As the medical director of Natural Skin Health, Dr. Burns oversees the clinic to assure we’re providing the highest quality of medical care to our patients.
